Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Reef mobile application and the reeftogether.com website (together, the Service), published by IVRYN, Victor Laybats. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What Reef is

Reef is a habit and focus tracking app that turns your consistency into a living ocean. It is a tracking and motivation tool, not a medical, psychological or therapeutic service. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. If you are struggling, please contact a qualified professional.

2. Your account

You can use Reef with an anonymous account or with an email account. You are responsible for keeping your access secure and for the activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the Service. You can delete your account and its data at any time from the app or via reeftogether.com/delete.

3. Free use and Reef Premium

Reef can be used for free with limits on the number of habits, active expeditions and focus session length. Reef Premium unlocks higher limits and extra features through auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly or yearly) or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are governed by their terms. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Where a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled before.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.

For users on the App Store, the Apple standard End User License Agreement also applies.

4. Pearls, creatures and progress

Pearls, creatures, expeditions and other in-app progress have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and may be adjusted if we detect abuse or automation. Pearls are earned through your own activity, never sold.

5. Social features

Friends, crews and shared expeditions are optional. When you use them, your username, ocean progress and activity related to the shared feature become visible to the people you share with. Do not use social features to harass, impersonate or harm others.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer the app, to bypass limits or purchases, to automate activity, to upload unlawful content, or to interfere with the Service or other users.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Reef (habit names, notes, journal entries, photos). You grant us the technical licence needed to store and display it to you and to the people you choose to share it with.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Reef available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change or discontinue features. We may update these terms, and continued use after an update means you accept the new version.

9. Liability

The Service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
